The Skill Analytics function helps you monitor and manage key skills across job postings and candidate profiles. It provides insights into skill gaps, hiring trends, and workforce planning, enabling smarter decisions in recruitment and talent development.
To access Skill Analytics: Settings → Skills (left menu) → Select a Skill from the list
A list of related or similar skills that refer to the same concept as the Standard Skill. These may include alternative names, abbreviations, or slight variations, helping to unify data across different naming conventions.
At the top of each skill page, you’ll find three key numbers:
Total Candidates with the Skill → number of candidates tagged with this skill.
Total Jobs with the Skill → number of job openings requiring this skill.
Total Jobs Hired → number of jobs successfully filled that required this skill.
These provide a quick snapshot of how this skill appears across your candidate database and job requisitions.
This chart tracks how job postings (demand) and candidate supply for a skill evolve over time.
What it shows:
Green: new jobs posted requiring the skill
Blue: new candidates with the skill
How to use it:
Monitor fluctuations: see when demand or supply peaks.
Spot mismatches quickly:
More jobs than candidates → boost sourcing or consider upskilling.
More candidates than jobs → expand your talent pool and nurture for future opportunities.
This chart shows the total accumulated number of jobs and candidates associated with a skill over time.
What it shows:
Green: jobs requiring the skill
Blue: candidates who have the skill
How to use it:
Understand the long-term balance of supply and demand.
Answer the key question: “Is this skill abundant or scarce?”
Example: If candidates far outnumber jobs, you have a strong talent pool available.
